Saúde mental do trabalhador da saúde frente à pandemia do coronavírus

Resumen

O estudo propõe uma revisão integrativa da literatura acerca dos principais impactos relacionados a saúde mental do trabalhador da saúde durante a pandemia do novo Coronavírus (COVID-19). A revisão foi realizada utilizando as bases de dados da PUBMED, LILACS, MEDLINE e SciElo, através dos descritores “workers” e “covid” e “mental health”. Foram incluídos e analisados 20 artigos, fundamentados em pesquisas empíricas, do ano de 2020. As pesquisas demonstraram que os profissionais da saúde que estão na linha de frente, em contato direto com pessoas infectadas pelo vírus, estão mais vulneráveis aos impactos psicológicos provocados pela pandemia. Conclui-se que o reconhecimento precoce do sofrimento emocional, o investimento em serviços de saúde mental e cuidados a longo prazo para os profissionais da saúde são de suma importância para minimizar os impactos negativos e promover a saúde mental do trabalhador que está na linha de frente da pandemia.
