Abstract

Low back pain is one of the most frequent complaints in emergency care and may have a specific or non-specific etiology. Among the specific and external causes of the musculoskeletal system is nephrolithiasis, which, in turn, is associated with several risk factors and underlying diseases. We describe a case in which a 63-year-old female patient presented with low back pain caused by nephrolithiasis, associated with hypercalciuria, which, in turn, was a cause of secondary osteoporosis.
