Anestesia em cirurgia citorredutora combinada com quimioterapia intraperitoneal hipertérmica

A cirurgia citorredutora associada (CRS) a quimioterapia intraperitoneal hipertérmica (HIPEC) tornou-se uma importante abordagem no tratamento de diversas neoplasias com disseminação peritoneal. A CRS baseia-se na excisão de todas as lesões metastáticas peritoneais macroscópicas enquanto a HIPEC se fundamenta na eliminação das células tumorais circulantes e micrometástases peritoneais invisíveis a olho nu. Nesse contexto, o caso clínico apresentado envolve uma paciente do sexo feminino de 41 anos submetida a CRS e HIPEC para o tratamento de câncer gástrico avançado com carcinomatoses peritoneal. Sua anestesia envolveu anestesia geral venosa total associado a peridural torácica, com manejo de fluidos guiados por parâmetros ultrassonográficos e manejo de eventos adversos, se mostrando eficaz para a abordagem cirúrgica e quimioterápica em questão.
