In this article, we carried out a bibliographic survey of infection zika virus during pregnancy and attention to the health of women and all aspects that address this issue. Search was conducted, 2015 publications to May 2016 in Medline, Lilacs, Scielo and Pubmed. We analyzed the articles all relevant aspects of women’s health in the current context of epidemic zika viruses and their complications. It is concluded that there are still many gaps in relation to various aspects involving the infection caused by this agent due to a lack of studies with this approach, so it is important the support and commitment of all health professionals and institutions to observe and describe the facts deemed relevant for public health.
